Founders Noah Aris and Luis Alfredo Garcia created Cravings & Crafts Farmers Market directly in response to the need of the Riverdale community for a reliable, quality farmers market that puts vendors and customers first.

Noah Aris is the owner of The Cardamom Man, which has been in operation since 2020.  An accomplished baker, Noah has been serving up his delicious sweets and treats to the neighborhood since the beginning and continues to grow through your patronage and support! As Co-Owners of the Cravings & Crafts Farmers Market, Noah and Luis have worked tirelessly to ensure that Riverdale and the surrounding area has both a stable and hospitable farmers market for all to enjoy. Noah has a background in hospitality management and is currently pursuing a career as a real estate agent.  Noah grew up in Riverdale.

Luis Alfredo Garcia has been serving several communities, including Riverdale as their Orwashers “Bread Guy,” since 2014. Over the years Luis has worked tirelessly to ensure Riverdale, Roslyn and Chelsea are well stocked with delicious, freshly baked bread, bagels and pastries made locally right here in the Bronx and Orwashers original E 78th street location. Every Sunday Luis gets unsold bread and donated food to the Friendly Fridge BX and over the years to several other organizations seeking to alleviate food insecurity. Throughout it all he has been a steadfast ally and supporter of having a reliable farmers market in Riverdale. Luis was born in Manhattan, raised in Westchester, and has a background in social services, and arts nonprofits. As Co-Owner of the Cravings & Crafts Farmers Market along with Noah, Luis has been spearheading a market for the whole community to gather and interact in a shared third space.
